No problem. I don't touch any of them. Still won't.

I don't care what they say, the shear amount of calories is not a reason to put sierra nevada and boston lager on a list like that.

My opinion is that I will not beat death so I will enjoy life while I'm here. Life will be enjoyed by not drinking any of that non flavored swill.

That's a pretty stupid article. But Fish Bladder Barleywine does sound a little intriguing. Might have to spend a little time on BeerSmith tonight.

Just kidding!!

I wouldn't doubt that in 10 years they'll tell us just the opposite.
My beers are all pretty high in calories and that's one reason I exercise so much (though I doubt it's doing much good).

Sounds like the food chick. lots of misinformation based on her lack of understanding...anything. Now I do get thee whole GMO thing, but they complain about plain corn syrup...like any of it's going to make it past the yeast. Why would Newcastle use dye when grain is cheaper?? Further they claim the caramel is added when we ALL know it's the crystal malts. IMHO some idiot got a half an idea and did some half as*ed research(i.e. finding we can make ale/beer from syrup and assuming it's corn) and decided he knows everything about making beer.

It is all Food Babe babble. The article has been constantly popping up and has been refuted many times over.

Wait, I'm supposed to worry about "natural flavors"? Without them my beer would just be water. :)

Do you realize that just about everything we eat is genetically modified? It's called hybridization, and it's been going on since Biblical times, if not earlier. You wouldn't want to eat the "original" versions of corn or apples. Just because it's done quicker, and in a laboratory, doesn't mean it's "bad" or "evil." It's just streamlined, the same way we don't use rotary phones anymore, because speed dial is more convenient.
