Montucky Brewing Recipes
A couple of months ago Dawg LB Steve sent me several of his recipes for me to add to the main website's Recipes section. With everything that was going on in my life I wasn't able to get to it before now. Last night I posted Steve's Recipe in Beer.xml format for his Bottoms Up Brown. I got the opportunity to drink this when we had our meet up in Asheville, NC and I have to say that this is one of the best Brown Ales I have ever had.
Over the next few weeks I will be adding the other 4 recipes that Steve so graciously sent to me to share on the Borg so be sure to check these out and add these great recipes to your home brew rotation.
Thank you Steve, it is greatly appreciated.

Re: Montucky Brewing Recipes
I was on the receiving end for the brown twice and though brown's are not my favorite style, this one is so good, you can't NOT like it. It's on my radar for a future brew and is perfect for summer time too since it's clean and light but still an overabundance of flavor.
Steve is one hell of a brewer and I've learned lots from our nerdy, beer conversations.

Thanks guys! I am humbled. I just try to do my best at putting recipes together from grist to water to hops and yeast, and having a good smooth brew day.

ALL of the beers I've tasted that Steve has brewed have been excellent. He can't help it.....he's just a kick ass brewer.....and fun as hell to be around too.

Re: Montucky Brewing Recipes
I've sampled a couple of Steve's beers and they were both great. Keep up the good work and your competition winning streak too Steve! I've already downloaded the brown ale recipe and imported it into qBrew for a future brewday, thank you for sharing.

Re: Montucky Brewing Recipes
Hope it brews as good for you as it has for me. This is one of the flagship beers for me, since brewing it the first time around September of 2014, it has always been on tap. When I know it is getting low I brew up a 5 or 10 gallon batch, depending on the season. It is a big hit at our Browns Tailgates.

Re: Montucky Brewing Recipes
Thanks again Leigh!!! FYI it is not a misprint in the recipe, I did use US-05 ale yeast for this beer.

Thanks again Leigh!!! The recipe for the Traveling Irish Red is now posted on the Home Page. I know Crazy Climber was looking for it earlier.
