This is my story
Every Friday bunch of the people I used to work with and a few people who had retired meet at a bar that I can walk to in 12 minutes. It was beautiful out today so I decided to take a walk there rather than drive. I get there and I have a moose drool. Then I decide to have a Lagunitas IPA. I asked the guy how much is a tall one? He says five bucks. So I ordered one of them I am walking so why not have a little more? So he brings it to me. Well I'm drinking it and talking to my friends waiter comes back and said we can all have jello shots if we want them on the house. I am not driving so why not. So I have one of those. I'm almost done with my beer but not quite I'm talking to a friend and I reach for my beer and it's gone. I said man I reach for my beer and it was gone it was almost empty anyway. One of my friends called the waiter over and says hey he wasn't done with his beer. The waiter asked me was it a big one or little one. I said it was a little one and I just need a little bit. My friend tells them it was a big one so the waiter brings me a big one on the house. So all said and done I had the equivalent of 5 beers and a shot. I am really glad I didn't drive. I was planning on watching Batman versus Superman this evening. But I've had too many to enjoy the movie. Anyway that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I am home. I must admit, I kept nearly falling off of the concrete trail. I kept veering to the right.Inkleg wrote:Walk Safely.

The walk back home must have been a lot more interesting than the walk to the bar! Lol. Good call not driving out there.

I'm glad you were on foot. Maybe next time Ralph can serve as a designated walker.

I would postulate that you didn't have enough to enjoy Batman v. Superman!
Actually, it wasn't a *bad* movie. Since you haven't seen it yet, I won't go into detail.
Sounds like you had a good day!

I saw that Saturday. This was my review of it...
Batman vs Superman was a huge disappointment. It was a 3 hour long drawn out movie with very little, if any, action until the last hour. Batman was ruthless and cruel and did use firearms, which is fine, but it is a step away from what his character has always been. He was always a bare knuckle ass kicker in the past. Superman came across as somewhat neurotic. The "socialistic equality" left had their influence on the movie as the question was brought up "why are some people worth rescuing where others aren't?" This was a huge struggle for Superman where he used to always be a strong individual who never second guessed his own decisions. Superman and Batman referred to each other as "Clark" and "Bruce". OK with exray vision of course Superman would know who Batman is but how in the hell did Batman know who Superman is? The whole secret identity thing seems to have gone by the wayside. They did not do very much character building with Wonderwoman. She seemed to just get thrown in there as an afterthought.
From now on I will redbox any superhero movies before I waste my money buying them.
