Hehe right on. I wonder if anyone's done a Heady clone before. I've been wanting one so bad lately.Inkleg wrote:My Pliny clone, just in.......glassware.

The heat index is 109...time for a sour ale. Rhinegiest's third anniversary Trips. Fermented with cherries and currants. Very tasty. Going to have to get another bottle of this.

Looks tasty Chris.
I'm enjoying a scoop of vanilla ice cream with my RIS.

Re: What are you drinking?
My turn, and my submission for Sour Sunday: Tropical Platypus.
...this equatorial sour blonde ale is aged in used wine barrels and oak foeders with an array of tropical fruits. We selected barrels with fruit-forward characters, and amplified those notes with the addition of kiwi, mango, lime and passionfruit. We tied the whole blend together with the addition of aromatic Galaxy hops from Australia. The finished beer is a tropical explosion, worthy of our duck-billed inspiration. Pair with celebratory anniversaries, pupu platters and white sand beaches.

I just blew the keg on the Kiwi Express IPA. Gonna try to brew this weekend to refill the keg.

Re: What are you drinking?
Just emptied the last of my Summer Blonde this afternoon. Going to town tomorrow to pick up grains/hops for a hefe (never done one before but one in the BYO mag sounds delish), and for a Honey Rye Cream ale (an RCE with Blackduck that absolutely rocks!).
Life is short, live it to it's fullest!

Also, my Franklin Fermenters collaboration 'Hazy Shade of Summer' IPA is hitting its prime about now... Pretty happy with the 10oz Citra investment in this one...

Bubs' Pale Wheat Xtra fresh from the keg. It's perfect. A nose full of citrus and an ample malty finish. I am definitely gonna keep this in my summer beer queue.
