Bell's Oracle DIPA

Post by BlackDuck »

Bell's Oracle DIPA is available at my local bottle shop. It's $18 for a 6 pack. Is it worth it? If you've tried this in the past, l would love to hear your thoughts.

I think that, for the Borg, you should put up the $18 and review it.
Shelf life of 6 months for a hoppy beer, even at 10% sounds wishful to me.
I wonder if that will show up here. But I must say, having spent $16 yesterday for a 4 pak of Opus Vert like to kill me. Maybe I should brew more beer and stay away from the real stuff.

Let's see.....that's $3.00 a beer plus shipping to Chuck, Paul, Ron and myself. Yeah, I think we're worth it. ;) :p

Chris, I checked all the places here and no one has any info on it so I guess it's not coming here even though Bell's website says so. That's been wrong before.
Anyone, I was going to take one for the team so I guess I'm out of luck.

I bought a six pack, but that doesn't mean you rat bastages are getting any.

Sure thing Chris. Remember, you can save on shipping by putting Chucks in with Paul's. The problem is Paul can't be trusted to give Chuck the beer.

Just keep picking on me and your next beer mail will be bitter but only because it's the final result of the beer I drank. :)

Here it is:

It's a double IPA for sure. Dank and bitter. It needs more aroma. It's full of pine with a bit of citrus. The bite really lingers in the back of the tongue. The alcohol is there too. It's good, not great. Not even really in the same category as a Stone. Not really sure it demands the $18 price for a sixer.

I saw this in Fla last week but it was $22 for a 6 pack and I just couldn't pull the trigger. I spent way too much on beer as it is and I couldn't rationalize that. I wish they would've let me buy a single
