after reading the borg....
I started boiling 1cup of water w/ 2/3 cups of sugar (if memory serves me) to be a much better way to carbonate equally when bottling. UNFORTUNATELY, I learned that if you let the water boil out when drinking on bottling night, you must wash the sugar residue from the pan. BOOM! Lesson learned.

Used the last of the brick last weekend, unfortunately wifey dropped the thermometer and broke it, so I couldn't re-hydrate. Oh well just pitched dry, and it took off so I will see if re-hydrating is necessary.
