One man's opinion, and we all know what opinions are like!!!! And everyone's got one!!! He sites very little fact and projects a lot of opinion. We shall see, To me the ones that may be troubled are the smaller guys that are bottling and trying to live off that type of retail. The brewpubs and the brewery tasting rooms really are better prepared for a "market correction" so to say.

While it sounds reasonable, it falls apart on close inspection. i.e. All the new breweries and the IPAs sitting around. Ok this would be a problem if your store carries every beer made. Hell, there are brews made right here in GA I cant get in my AO. Probably some shill trying to stem the craft brew tide for the big companies.

Such hilarious visions clamber

Come to life and fade away;
Who cares how time advances?
I am drinking ale today."

Sorry for the military jargon. AO = Area of Operation

All businesses go through cycles, and craft beers are no exception. IMHO there will be a shaking out of the market in the next few years. Those with the best products and sound business practices will survive, while others may not. Here in Indy every new brewery that makes good beer is prospering. We shall see what the future holds.

Can't argue with the Doc. Sure makes sense to me, and it's just the free market shaking down the pretenders from the doers.
