So, as mentioned, if things work out next week, this will be Monday's brew to get ready for football season. Using hops and grain I've had for a bit, I'm using them up. I have 15 lbs of Golden Promise so I'll use some now and some in a few more weeks with some Swaen I have left over.
Got some Wai-iti with very, very low AA but some citrus and tropical notes with some Huel Melon which I love. It is also an experimental pale for me but with about 5.5%, it's perfect for watching football with friends and any football food from BBQ to Fajitas!

Re: Ready for Preseason Pale
It's a pale ale, I'd drink it.
Re: Ready for Preseason Pale
Kegged this last Friday as well and also had an early taste of it. Lots of stuff going on here with all the grains I used. It's great to taste the different grains when you're use to 2 row and Maris Otter. I pretty much just decided to go for a grain fart and throw different things in, both grains and hops. There's so many new things in here for me that I don't know if I can pick them out. That's not a bad thing. At 5.5%, this is smooth and though I may never have these ingredients handy again to rebrew, if I did, it wouldn't be a mistake.
I'm calling this and Righteous Rye, 2 for 2 so color me happy with myself for a while.
