As an American Premium Beer' Stroh's was always more flavorful than an American Light...
I used to like them just slightly warmed than chilled, say in the 45-50°F range.
Wonder if, since they are using the old recipe... If they will 'fire brew' it... LOL!
I guess as opposed to modern electric brewing vessels... Not that it matters much.

Bought a 6 pack of Billy beer back in '77 (the date's kind of hazy ) drank 1 and gave the rest away

Jim, I still have a couple un-opened cans of Billy. it wasn't all that good of a beer though. As far as Stroh's right now I probably wouldn't want one too bad, but in it's day I liked it better then Bud or Miller and there was no Coors around here at that time (and no I don't like Coors). Pabst was what I liked and once in a while I'll still get some Pabst and pour it from the can into a glass and I still kinda like it.....I also Like Genny Cream Alejimjohson wrote: Bought a 6 pack of Billy beer back in '77 (the date's kind of hazy ) drank 1 and gave the rest away

If they do what they say and follow that old recipe, it's not going to taste like the Stroh's we remember. It really sounds like it will be more like a European pilsner. So it might actually be good.

Re: Stroh's Beer is back!
Strohs was a go to beer for me in college in the early 70's. At that time it was $2 a six pack. I may have to try it again just for old times sake.

Re: Stroh's Beer is back!
Finally got my hands on some Stroh's. The first sip brought back a lot of memories of when I was in high school. This is a good representation of the classic bohemian-style pilsner. Clean and crisp this is a good all day drinker that has a good malt flavor. They did a nice job on this reincarnation of a Detroit classic.
