What does your barbecue sauce compare to or taste like and is the recipe one you're willing to share? If so, is it already posted here somewhere?FedoraDave wrote:Good thing I make my own beer and barbecue sauce.Beer-lord wrote:Some women are just very demanding I guess. Thanks.

Alas, I will cheerfully and freely share my beer recipes, but not my barbecue sauce recipe. It's just a thing I have about this sauce.TonyKZ1 wrote:What does your barbecue sauce compare to or taste like and is the recipe one you're willing to share? I will say it's tomato-based, and uses a lot of Jack Daniels. Pretty much a Kansas City-style sauce. I don't think the ingredients list is all that unique; I think it's the way I put them together during the simmering. And I thicken it by simmering for a long time, not with any of that bogus corn syrup commercial sauces use. It has a good blend of sweetness, spiciness, smokiness, and tang. We use it instead of ketchup, as it's good on just about any meat, and actually is great on French fries.
