Re: Star Trek
I would skip street ball when I was a kid to watch the original series and have watched every episode of all the many series over the years.

Re: Star Trek
Got 'em on DVD. I've been watching since the second episode was originally aired ( I was 11). Didn't know about it till one of my cousins ask if I watched that new space show last week...I am a trekkie(original fan), not a trekker(second generation fans that didn't like trekkie, sounds to much like groupie).

I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chambers of my brain
-- Quaintest thoughts -- Queerest fancies
Come to life and fade away;
Who cares how time advances?
I am drinking ale today."

I also watched the original series as a child. Probably not the first season, as I was only 4-5 years old. But certainly the last season, and then in re-runs. I watched it again in the 80s, and knew every episode very well. But the thirty years since has blurred my memory. I remember the plots but not the details. So I am enjoying it again.
