Unfortunately, yesterday was Halloween for us. Don't ask, it just doesn't make any sense to me. Those that are in charge seem to think it's "safer" if the kids actually go trick or treating during the week and not on Halloween. Go figure!!!

Guess there's a reason they stuck 'HI' in the middle of two 'O's'....

So let's move Thanksgiving to June! That'll be fun...

So... found these in the back of the fridge. Since I have so... much... beer... and I don't drink a bunch anymore, I have found a few buried treasures recently. Not sure whose version this is (see the cap in the pic). May open the other two during the rest of the day. Pardon the cheezy "gifted to me" glassware, though it does show off the color nicely...

Image

Small head that dissipated quickly. Raisin predominate on the nose. Raisin and chocolate on the taste. A bit of smokiness on the finish. Thinnish body. Quite smooth and tasty to wash down this ugly Titans game.

That looks my hand writing swen. You must have a fantastic palette as I did use a 1/2 lb Smoke malt in the mash. Glad it's still drinkable after all this time.
