I try to schedule my brewing weeks, maybe months, in advance. I work every other Saturday, so my free Saturdays are when I go to my LHBS, and I pick up two weeks' worth of ingredients.
But something told me I'd better check the schedule before I make my run tomorrow, and sure enough, I'm going to be brewing a fiver of Copperbottom Lager on Oct. 16. I want to make a yeast starter a couple days before then, though, so I'd better pick it up tomorrow.
That was a close one.
I'm glad I looked ahead
