Better in the Can!

Post by John Sand »

It really is better in the can! Even my wife likes it! This weekend we had a little adventure on the boat, rafted up with some other couples. Well, one thing led to another, people relaxed. It seemed ideal to try something different. After all, who would know? We're all over 21, we've all heard about it. Frankly we've all tried it the other ways. While pulling the handle until overflowing with creamy goodness may always be the most successful serving, I do think that craft beer in cans is truly better than bottles. Specifically, Sam Adams BL, is much better on tap than in a bottle. This weekend I learned that it is better in the can too!
Don't knock it 'til you've tried it.

Cans keep beer fresher longer, and nowadays there's no worry of a metallic taste.
I can personally attest to Jai Alai being a "meh" beer, turning into a "wow!" beer once they started canning it.
It's all about the freshness. Had some two hearted last night that was bottled on 4/16/13...man it was seriously lacking.
I only say that because I know what it tastes like fresh.
