Dear Veterans:

Thank you for your service to our country. Whether stateside or abroad, in combat or in peacetime, you stood ready to defend our country. We owe you more than we can ever repay.

Veterans Day

Post by BlackDuck »

What Dave said...and I would like to add a thank you to their family's too. They take on a big burden when they let their loved ones go. They have to stay home and care for kids, home matters, and general life. They too sacrifice, and your efforts are appreciated also.

Thank you all, and thank you to my fellow veterans. My father was in the Army, my son the Marines. Yesterday I was at the middle school for a ceremony, the kids sang, the Vets stood and announced their service. Their were two WWII vets there. God Bless America.

I have many friends and family that have served in the military and I must say that I am humbled by your dedication to protect our nation. I am honored by your selfless service and sacrifice. I will never know what it's like to walk in your shoes but as a proud citizen I will do my best to make sure that all you did was not in vain. :flag:

Thanks, I was in the Army for 8 years
"Filled with mingled cream and amber
I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chambers of my brain

Come to life and fade away;
Who cares how time advances?
I am drinking ale today."
