I have a firm rule not to drink before lunch.
More of a guideline than a rule, really.
And I eat lunch about 11am. Oh, yeah, the rule doesn't apply on vacation either.

Never mind, there it is.

What about brewing and having a beer at the same time? One could live forever I would think.

I am fairly certain that this was the standard practice of the monks of the Abbey of Saint Gall during the times of the Holy Roman Empire.

2 blackberry hard ciders and a wheat beer all before 1pm, does that help me? I don't know, but sure makes the chill from cold weather go away. Time for a shot of black label washed down with an IPA. I'm very healthy... hehehe

And it's a retro clock with the Schaefer beer logo on it, and an adorable illustration of a woman with a Brooklyn Dodgers hat, lucky charms on her bracelet, crossed fingers and a hopeful face, raising a glass of beer. I like to think she's from 1955, because that's when my dad's beloved Bums won the champeenship against dem Yanks!
