Inkleg, I need your advice

Post by FedoraDave »

A couple of years ago you were kind enough to send me some Naked Cat Brewery bottle cap magnets. I have them on the front of my beer fridge, and they look great. But they seem to have made my cat, Duncan, jealous. He has gotten into the habit of knocking the magnets onto the floor.

How should I deal with this?

There are a few ways that I can think to help you two get through this......

First you can try to talk to him about his feelings about the caps, but he is a cat.

Second you can have bottle caps made with him on them so he doesn't feel left out.

Thirdly you can hold him down an shave him so he matches the caps on the fridge.

Hope this helps. :clink:

I think Duncan just needs a "Safe space". And some crayons.

After he's shaved and looks in the mirror, he'll need more than a crayons and a safe space.
I'd pay to watch a video of the shaving but I think his own bottle caps would be what I'd try first.

Well, he's all black, so he doesn't photograph very well, so I don't know how the bottle cap option would work.

I was thinking of showering with him, to start.

Couldn't you just tie one of the bottle caps around his neck so he always has one close by?

"Filled with mingled cream and amber
I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chambers of my brain
-- Quaintest thoughts -- Queerest fancies
Come to life and fade away;
Who cares how time advances?
I am drinking ale today."
