Myself

Post by ebbz »

First of all my name is Mike and this site appears to combine two of my most cherished things in the Universe...Trek and Brew. Among other things, my passions include Rush, Cigars and Tangerine Dream. I currently have a Nut Brown Ale and a Hard Apple Cider in the fermenters and am preparing to brew Cream Ale and Chocolate Stout in the next few weeks. I am also looking to upgrade my brewing to partial mash in the beginning part of 2017.

I am greatly interested in how to receive a discount at brewdemon.com

Welcome to the Borg. Glad you found us here. You'll love taking the next step to partial mashing.

I'm guessing the Tangerine Dream your talking about is the band? It's a great name for an IPA too.

Tangerine Dream is an Electronica/New Age group from Germany that got together and started making music in the 60's. They have hundreds of albums and soundtracks to their credit (some of which you may have heard and not know was them)and have been making music up until very recently when the last of the original, founding members passed away (...as a tear rolls down my face). As suggested, it would make a wonderful name for a brew...I think I will attempt my first original recipe in tribute this year.

Hello and welcome to the site! I also enjoy the Star Trek movies, music from Rush and while I can't name a song from Tangerine Dream, they sound very familiar.
