I made a batch of barbecue sauce yesterday. Two liters of delicious sauce! Boy, did the house smell great! Now I just need to find time to barbecue.

Just put the bottles in the fridge. There's salt and vinegar in the recipe, but more important, there's a full liter of Jack Daniels. With that much alcohol, if anything infects it, I, for one, will welcome our new one-celled overlords. It gets better as it ages, and we've never had a problem in many, many years. We're a little more than half-done with the last bottle I made about a year ago. We use it all the time. Better on burgers and fries than ketchup! Great on grilled chicken, too, and my wife wishes it was a beverage.
