I love this time of year! 4 day weekend thanks to Mardi Gras on Tuesday. I no longer party with the million but have a Sunday brew day planned to do the NEIPA and I figured, if I can get finished my 'man-list' on Sunday and Monday, I may get a second brew day in on Fat Tuesday. With that in mind, I have a Pale Ale planned using hops I've never used before but procured which includes my first ever use of Comet and Vic Secret with some other goodies. This is kind of a NE Pale Ale since I'm in the mood for that lately.
I've got no idea what I'm doing with this hops and mixing these is no way to find out what they do but based on reviews, these sound really good. If anyone has used Vic Secret or Comet before, I'm curious what you think. I have 2 different sets of Farmhouse Blend and I love what I've used so far so I'm hoping this one is just as nice.
So here goes:
