Guess I should be glad I got to visit before they 'fell' though sometimes the worse never happens.

I wonder what kinda money it would take for Naked Cat Brewery to sell out?

The beer is very good at Naked Cat but the owner is a low life loser type guy. All he's got going for him are his wife and his cats.

Yet again, it's sad, but makes business sense. That's a lot of dough, err, grain to pass up. I never got a chance to visit, but there are other options. I'll continue to choose locally, even when I eventually get to Asheville.
In the meantime, I'll wait until the brewer inevitably leaves and starts a new project, citing the typical "I can't believe they changed the product/the vision didn't align/lack of creative control."

Re: Wicked Weed sells out
man, this saddens me. On one hand, I can ABSOLUTELY, HONESTLY understand....after 35 years of working in my life, why someone would do this. On the other hand, WTF? Why sell out what you did out of love?
In the end, its up to the individual but i'm saddened by it.
