Kegging isn't hard, but it wants some gear. I started kegging with 2.5 gallon kegs, which are a bit more costly than the fives which are more common. I bought a 4.4 cubic foot fridge and used picnic taps. Later I built it into a kegerator. At a minimum you need kegs, a CO2 bottle and regulator, and some kind of taps.
