Hop Yield 2017

Post by MrBandGuy »

I thought you all might enjoy my hop harvest. These are 2nd year vines from bpgreen. The Centennial in the middle was accidentally cut in early June.

Image My deck setup.
Image The Chinook are gigantic!
Image I'm not sure what this last pic is. I found two bunches of it, though. Anyone know?

I don't know what that last picture is. I know that sometimes under stress conditions, a hop bine will produce false male flowers, but they don't look like that.

If it's full of yellow, I'd go ahead and harvest.

Looks good MrBG, I think mine got some sort of a blight this year and don't think I'll get any where near what I harvested last year, but's that's alright because I had more then I could use last year.
