Ouch! That sounds a little more serious than running out of something on brew day and having to run to the LHBS.

Glad it went well.
I had the same thought as Ink: if I find I'm out of an ingredient, I just substitute or add it later. The beer doesn't care. Surgery is just a little different.

Got home Thursday evening, nice to be home in my bed and recliner. Finally got a decent night's sleep, still have quite a bit of pain but it is getting better everyday.
