I bottled a Northern English Brown Ale, a 5G extract w/steeping grains recipe from AIH, a mixture of 12oz and 1 Liter bottles. Then I brewed a Apricot Cream Ale, also a 5G extract w/steeping grains recipe from AIH.

I opened the door of my fermentation fridge and looked at the Belgian Dubble I brewed last Saturday.
....and I made a starter for next weekends NEIPA.

Bike is broke again (cyclocross seems to be like that) so I had time to brew again today. So I made me 5 gallons of Irish Red. Because that's never a bad thing to have in the pipeline.
Re: What are you brewing/bottling?
Hey All, Today I bottled a batch of B/D IPA and a batch of B/D Prophecy Ale(WCPA),which were beyond the freshness date. The IPA was ok colorwise, but the WCPA was WAY too dark, but it tasted ok and smelled ok,so I'm considering it good to go. I'll know for sure in 4 weeks or so. Still it came out to about to around .45 cents a bottle,so that ain't bad. I'm gonna keep an eye out for those sales on the B/D site. Cheers.
Re: What are you brewing/bottling?
Yep, sounds like you made beer! Unless you're entering competitions, who cares that it's a little darker than it should be, as long as it tastes good and you're happy with it. I've made quite a few of the BrewDemon recipes, some of them were beyond their "best by date" and they still turned out fine.

Bottling a Laird's Apple Jack oak barrel aged Belgian Quad tomorrow night and brewing yet another Sloop Juice Bomb NEIPA on Saturday. The NEIPA should be ready to drink in less than 3 weeks and the Quad should be ok for sampling at our holiday dinner.

I brewed this on Saturday. On Sunday, it had lot of airlock bubbling going on. While most all of mine have an active fermentation, none of them that I've seen or remember, have had such an active airlock as this.TonyKZ1 wrote:I brewed a Northern English Brown Ale, a 5G extract w/mashing grains recipe from AIH.

Last night I kegged a spiced hard cider I made to have for Thanksgiving. I did a small boil with some DME and added orange peel, allspice and cinnamon. It fermented with Notty and last night I backsweetend it with cranberry-apple juice and simple syrup with a touch of Brown sugar and more spices as it went into the keg. It should be pretty damn good.

Any chance the yeast in that is US-04? I find that stuff to go hard and fast like that.TonyKZ1 wrote:I brewed this on Saturday. On Sunday, it had lot of airlock bubbling going on.
