A home brewed Hef

Edit: Not very good head on this one and don’t know why because have Been drinking out of this batch right along, maybe a bad pour(don’t usually happen) or my glass needs to be washed instead of just rinsed.

Pumpkin ale. It is good but don’t have the cinnamon presence I wanted. A lot of spice and taste like a Holliday beer. Very simple just 2 row and cooked pumpkin mashed. Some brown sugar and the spices added at flame out. When I made this before I secondarily and Added more cinnamon, this time I didn’t.... but is good beer

I was at a fundraiser tonight. Often the options are Bud, Heineken, O'Doul's.
Thankfully they had Greenport Leaf Pile!

No, seriously I did.
It smells of sweet malted chocolate and tastes exactly the same as it smells. Light on the peanut butter (compared to the 1 other one I have tried), but it's good. Very much a dessert beet for my tastes - but look....KEALIA IS DRINKING A DARK BEER AGAIN!

It's not a bad drinking Amber. A little sweet and finishes clean. Not Sam Adams Boston Lager, but edging towards it.
