Borg Meet-Up 2018 NASHVILLE!!

Looks like the next Borg Meet-up is set, going back to Nashville Feb.12th-16th. Here is link to hotels in area of where the Home Base will be near the intersection of Gallatin and Eastland, for those that may want to make the trip for a day or two or four! Details to come as to brewery or distillery visits as they develop. Hope some Borgies can join us, Blackduck, Beerlord, RedBEERd, Inkleg, Swen who lives there and myself, so far!

House is 3 miles from Downtown and 5 miles from Music Row and within 5-10 miles of breweries we had visited the first time, but have made some big changes since.

We will be getting into Nashville on Sunday Feb. 11th. The 9th and 10th we will be in Madison, Wisconsin for our oldest Grand Daughters school performance as the Lion in the Wizard Of Oz. As of now we might not head back north until Sunday the 18th. We plan to make it a nice 10 day getaway and only burn 6 vacation days.

Nashville Guru's Nashville Breweries Guide. I would add Corsair to their list, but I assume they don't add it because it's a small brewing operation at the distillery. Still, their taproom has at least a couple of their beers on tap at any given time.

Info about their tour:

Welcome to our new brewstillery located at our original Nashville facility. Let us teach you how we take grain from our own malt house to your glass. Our focus is on high gravity, alternative grain, and barrel-aged beers along with malt based whiskeys. At the end of tour you will get to sample a variety of our beers and whiskeys. The thing I love about corsair is that they sell their smoked malts at my LHBS. They may well sell them at the facility as well, but I'm not sure...
