Bottled 5 gallons of Ann Arbor Red on 4/18/17. Bottled 5 gallons of Michigan Red on 5/8/17.

Brewed in 2017 - 22.13 gallons (19.91 in 2012, 48.06 in 2013, 61.39 in 2014, 84.26 in 2015,46.39 in 2016)
Brewed in lifetime - 282.14 gallons
Drinkable beer on hand -  13.58 cases, with 6.11 cases ready in May and early June.
Average cost per 12 pack through all beer brewed - $6.27(ingredients only)

Thank you for the welcome..even the wolverine fan! Lol. Malthead...verses hop head, not a big fan of hoppy beer and tend to favor the more malty, less bitter beers. Again, thank you for the welcome. Hope to get my first brew going as soon as the Ohio weather abates a bit.

Welcome! Malthead or hophead, it makes no difference around here. We just love beer and want to help and encourage new brewers!

Maybe a better question to ask is what method you're using? Hopped malt extract kits, like Mr. Beer or BrewDemon? Extracts with steeping grains and hop additions? All-grain?

Knowing the answer to this would help us help you as you explore this great pastime. Don't be afraid to ask questions; we were all there when we started, and even though the questions have been asked before, we never get tired of answering them. Nobody's going to put you down or make you feel stupid for asking a question. That's Rule #1 on The Borg. :fedora:
