I mentioned this before that members of my homebrew club, Sons of Liberty collaborated and brewed 55 gallons of a Russian Imperial Stout. Today we we're finally able to get it into the Four Roses Bourbon barrel that we purchased last fall. Everything went smoothly racking the beer into the barrel. Now the hard part is to wait.
The plan is to keg this and divide it between all the brewers with some reserved to have on tap at the Michigan Homebrew Festival.

I forgot to mention that each batch was taste tested before being racked into the barrel. It was very interesting to taste the differences between them all even though they were all the same recipe.
