The MB site finally became too frustrating for words, and I miss seeing all the old familiar faces (icons?). So I finally decided to come on over. To be honest, the MB forum was the only forum other than our club forum that I ever used. The old one was so user friendly that it made most other forums look a bit complicated to this decaying, moss encrusted, tech ignorant luddite to use. So this is going to take me some time to get used to. In the meantime, I'll be trying to figure out how to do a profile and get acquainted with the format.
The little wheel next to the zero messages box is your user profile settings for your avatar (not icons) your avatar needs to be 120 or less pixels. You can change you screen color from dark to light.
If you go to inf and announcements there is a bunch you can learn about navigating this forum. If you can't figure something out put it in the "If you see something say something thread and Louie MacGoo will help you.
There are a few differences between this forum and the other one. But for the most part I find it really close to being as user friendly. For me the biggest hitches are an extra step in posting photos from photobucket and I have yet to figure out how to present a youtube video.
When I have a private message there is a big pink band across the top when I log in..that part is really nice. And I chose the light color for my theme because the dark with white lettering hurt my eyes. But it is really nice to have that choice.
Oly, welcome home, man, as THIS is the NEW HOME of the BORG!!
