Color is a reddish mahogany and it has a light aroma of roasted grains, vanilla, chocolate, maybe coffee overtones. As I drank it, I kept whiffing off the bottle, the aroma is very pleasant. Medium-sweet taste that impressively complements the vanilla presence in the nose. Medium body, not too thick or heavy. Very smooth finish.
I really enjoyed this beer and wished I had picked some up sooner. next week, I get to sample my own Octoberfest beer! WoooooHoooooo!

I enjoy the Breckenridge Vanilla Porter as well. I had one at the bowling alley in pursuit of my free t-shirt!

Breckenridge puts out some solid beers. I really like their 471 Small Batch IPA.
