An introduction

Post by denny »

Hi everyone! My name is Denny Conn. I just discovered this forum and figured I should join in. I've been brewing for 20+ years and am about to brew my 528th batch. I've been a member of the AHA Governing Committee for 12 years. I'm about to finish up my 4th book on homebrewing. My co author, Drew Beechum, and I produce 2 beer related podcasts, Experimental Brewing and The Brew Files. You can find them on about any podcast service or at our website, www.experimentalbrew.com. In spite of all that, I still have questions and love to talk beer, so I'm looking forward to joining this community.

You're not the only one! It was intended to be a one off promo for the first show 2 years ago. But to my horror, I found that a lot of people love it! I get requests for it so people can use it for a ring tone...sickness. So now it's just kind of a joke and a hallmark of the show.

I knew I heard of him before... I checked, and Brad Smith introduced Denny as Denny "Khan", same pronunciation.

Welcome aboard, Denny! Honest and friendly folks around here who support brewers of all levels.

I'm going to go ahead and tell folks I did at least one thing before Denny Conn...being a member of this group! Hope you don't mind! Ha!

Welcome and cheers. I've heard your name before so your reputation precedes you - in a good way, don't worry.

I listen to a number of podcasts so I'll add yours to my list(s) as well. And, I'm a ukelele fan -don't listen to Beer-lord. Nobody takes him seriously anyway :p
