Cannabis-infused sparkling water

Coming to California soon.

The base of this beverage is a hoppy sparkling water, created with a touch of lavender and grapefruit. Sounds like normal artisan water, until the last ingredients – Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and Cannabidiol (CBD).

I read something yesterday that said that Miller Coors is looking into a cannibas-infused beer as well. I guess this is the next "big thing".

Great, I already get the munchies when I drink....this is only going to ratchet that up exponentially!

Is marijuana legal where you live?

I don't think recreational marijuana is legal yet in NY, but I'm not likely to start smoking or drinking it. Your mileage may vary.

It's weird in a good way. They really have the aroma down pretty well and it doesn't taste as big as its brewed. I really don't want to drink more than 1 but it's a nice change of pace to try.

I’m curious what the cost is compared to regular beer.

Was sorting sponsor donations at my buddies for our King of The Mountain comp and went out to the car for something, nice day, windows open, I come back in and I'm about 20 feet away from these guys and I start getting THAT smell, I'm thinking maybe a slight wiff of left over skunk spray in the neighborhood, or someone in the neighborhood was indulging. These guys start laughing and hand me the glass of fresh poured Hemperor, what an aroma! I felt like I was 18 again

From what I read they're targeting a THC level equivalent to a 5% ABV beer. Once that door opens it won't be too long before we start seeing 'Double', pun intended, or Imperial versions too.

Keep in mind these aren't beer. It's sparkling water so the ABV is 0 - the high is going to come from the THC.

It's not uncommon here to just smell it everywhere these days. Some places you would expect (and it was that way before it was legal) and some you wouldn't - but are learning to.
