But I like Rampant after a long day of work.

Fill with mingled cream and amber,
I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chambers of my brain.
Quaintest thoughts — queerest fancies,
Come to life and fade away:
What care I how time advances?
I am drinking ale today.

I was a Ranger fan but it's now blah to me. I like their Rampant much better. I did enjoy 1554 a lot.
I met the local new guy in our area for New Belgium and asked them to bring Rampant back in our area in bombers and not just 12 oz bottles.
I have some in my fridge now. Think I'll grab one.

Re: I think
Rampant is an excellent IPA. And although I am starting to appreciate hoppy beers more I still lean more towards the malty ones.
Re: I think
1554 is a well crafted beer and I can see why it is a favorite for many, but I'm partial to their Abbey and I'm crazy about several of the Lips of Faith offerings.
Fat Tire, on the other hand, has worn out its welcome in my beer fridge. It's a big-time "meh."

Re: I think
I'm partial to Sunshine wheat but I really wanna try that Yuzu berliner from the Lips of Faith series.
Re: I think
Haven't tried the 1554, but agree Fat Tire did not live up to what I thought it was going to be.BigJack wrote:1554 is a well crafted beer and I can see why it is a favorite for many, but I'm partial to their Abbey and I'm crazy about several of the Lips of Faith offerings.

Re: I think
I like the 1554 Enlightened Dark Ale and I wrote my review on it in Brew Reviews last week.
Anybody tried the Shift yet? It's brewed with Nelson Sauvin hops, among others. (Pilothouse Pilsner anyone??)
