I do love SweetWater's 420 pale ale... This could be the stout to try and see if I like the style or not. Color looks an awful lot like my brown ale.

Love the Happy Ending, but love the Festive Ale even more... Sweetwater makes good beer, and I love that it's the beer you always see (along with Terrapin) on 'Walking Dead.' If only 'Nashville' featured Yazoo in similar fashion instead of generic fake-label beer, I may bother to watch the show...Inkleg wrote:It's back.......

JJ's Cincinatti Common. It's exactly like the Dirty Derby Drank, but no sourness! Actually tastes much like a porter, or like a non-bitter English strong ale. Love this grain bill!

Enjoying a Belgium Tripel...

Got a beer clone book for Christmas and saw Dirty Derby Dank and was wondering if it was any good. I think that might be the next brew for me.philm00x wrote:JJ's Cincinatti Common. Drinking....homebrew IPA given to me by one of my employees, the Blueberry Hard Cider of my own 3 months in the bottle and still not that great.

Wait... you mean we picked a name already in use?? our DDD is a Kentucky Common, a sour mash. my Cincinnati Common uses the same grain bill + 1 adjunct, but not soured. Phil is the second person to describe it as being like a porter.
back to the thread. i'm drinking an American Wheat, got a CC in the fridge for quality control. yeah, that's the ticket!

I was given a Michigan beer sampler and I have had the Oddside Ales Citra pale ale which is tasty. I am currently working on the Midland Brewing Copper Harbor Ale which is really sour. It reminds of the sour head candies I used to eat as a kid.

Fat Tire. First time I've had it since I travelled to Denver and Colorado Springs for work. Because it just wasn't available here. But now it is! Up next (Tomorrow) Ranger IPA.
How are their fruit beers? I'm not a big fan of fruit beers as a general rule of thumb, except for cherries in wheats and sours and stouts... there is something with peach in it on the shelf. I'm sort of intrigued, but sort of scared at the same time...

I like it. Not sure I'd want one everyday but it seems to be balanced nicely. I'd recommend it.

I haven't tried their other beers, but I love me some fat tire. Have some in the fridge right now. Just like you, I used to enjoy them on trips to CO but until recently haven't been able to get them in FL. Now they are everywhere. Must be a new distributor.mashani wrote:Fat Tire. Yeah, New Belgium just started distributing in Florida in the summer. Fat Tire is good, but I really love their Sunshine Wheat.
