My latest upgrade. I got sick of party taps, and figure I can take them with me when I open my tap room.

NICE! and with it staying in the fridge, no foamy pours from warm taps. :clink:

Have thought about this kind of set up for my keezer. Just haven't gotten of my Perlick to get it done. :laugh

So after I finally got the temp back down in the fridge there was no foam. I did have to turn the pressure down slightly, but perfect pours every time. I can't believe I went over 2 years with party taps, what a cheap idiot.

Still running picnic taps myself, but I'm running 10 taps. So for now, I'm ok with cheap. ;)

I've been using Whamo's previous set up with the poor man's mounted picnic taps. I'm pretty happy with them, but I'm loving the upgrade!

Jeff,

MoreBeer has their Perlick 630 taps on sale right now. 10 of them would be expensive, but if you wanted to start......
Not saying there is anything wrong with picnic taps, mind you. Just letting you know there is currently a deal.

I certainly do like the new taps. they give a more consistent pour and not much dripping after the pour is done. I found that the party taps would dribble for a few seconds when shut off and I would walk away.

To counter the picnic tap dribble, I've taught myself and all people pouring to recite "Don't you wish your girlfriend was hot like me" while tapping the tap on the edge of the glass with the tap. It's weird, it works, but no more dribbles and we all get a good laugh.
