I keep cleaning my garage and workshop myself. I move equipment/tools to the other side to clean, procrastinate, move them to the other side to clean that side, procrastinate more, them move them again, u get the picture. I don't think I will ever get it done. My wife keeps saying she's going to throw it all in the dumpster if I don't clean and get rid of stuff I never use. NEVER USE??? I either use it all the time, or have plans to use the stuff in the shop/garage some day. IF I could only get some projects finished I could move them out of the garage, but for some reason the projects just keep piling on. She's going to love it when she comes home this winter and finds a '36 WC sitting in there with the eng. tore apart... hehehe

She came home from work today (heck, someone has to work, right?) and there I sit in the middle of the *clean* side of the garage with welder going and metal all over where she wanted to park her car. Then it started.... LOL I think little miss boss lady has decided to let me start building an *unattached* workshop this coming spring. Oh great, another freaking project gets piled upon that to-do list. Maybe I should just keep her side of the garage/workshop clean.

Ink or Beer-lord,

I know there is a way to do it because I had it set up on Mr. Beer forum but I can't remember. How do you get the drop down menu in your signature?

For those who haven't seen it yet. I have posted my secret to success. I called it the "Homebrewers Bible to Grains, Hops and Yeast"

Check them out here:
Hops: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=3365
Grains: viewtopic.php?f=30&t=3364
Yeast: viewtopic.php?f=32&t=3366

Printed them all out and made a 3 ring binder of them all. The Hops and Grains were found on a website but the Yeast I got off of each of the brands website and made Word documents of them all. Took a bit but I love to use it to find out what different yeasts can add to each brew. Hope it is as useful to you as it is to me!

Cleaning up the brew room and checking and cleaning out some bottles. I think I'll bottle my Pumpkin Ale next Tue. I don't have time to do it this weekend. My Oktoberfest is in a secondary on it's 7th week, it's at 39 deg now and will leave it at that temp until almost the end of the month and then bottle and hope I can get some good carb in a couple more weeks.

I'm planning on meeting somebody for a fresh hop picking on Sunday evening... We threw down a challenge last weekend at a party that we would brew a fresh hop ale and serve it up at a 'Janufest' party coming up in 2015; and brew up two different ales, and then see who wins the 'party' votes at the event! I must admit, the guy throwing out this challenge, is is a 'flake', but I have known him for the past 11 years, so it may happen. Supposed to be some Cascade hops growing next to to the house... If it happens, I'll post a few pics, if not.....

Well, it's been nice knowin' you all and chatting with you about all things beer. But it looks as though the Wife has found a way to kill me off. And to make it worse she's going to make it my Birthday present.

She's signed (or is going to) us up to do this:

As I go through the web site and look at all the fun and exciting pictures for some reason the theme song to George of The Jungle keeps going through my head

My wife loves zip lining and they are a hoot. She hasn't managed to kill me off doing any of them. But I still sleep with one eye open, cause you just never know.

Got all 3 carboys (two 2.5 jobs, and one fiver) workin', finally. Got plans through early November for weekly brew sessions (I'll figure out what to do with the rest of the time as it approaches), and I'm hoping the keep the pipeline full and robust right through the summer slow-down.

Why is it whenever I want to be some place SWMBO moves slower than molasses on a cold winter day going up the the tree?? Should just leave her butt behind!!. When she wants to be some place her ass is in the car seat before you can blink an eye!!

Her Idea to go to Buffalo Wild Wings yesterday for the game since both our teams are playing..... than at 10am today she changes her mind slightly because she is doing some work around the house. HELL NO!! You can't do that. Get my hopes up all day yesterday to pull the football out from underneith me? I DON'T THINK SO LUCY!!
