With my relocation to Virginia this puts me in prime location to make a 10 hour car trip to meet up as well. I ran it past my wife and didn't get a "hell NO" yet so I will continue to work the angle. Unfortunately we are going on vacation 2/17 - 2/24 so not sure if I will be able to schedule it with work. If I am able to come I will drive there on friday and drive home on monday. I will see what I can do.

Anyone booking rooms together to save on some costs? This may be an option if someone is going alone, like I would be, to save a few bucks for pints. :)

D_Rabbit...so good to hear that you might be able to make the trip. As for a hotel, I know that Dawg LB Steve has booked at the Best Western Music Row. We (myself, Beer-lord, Inkleg and RedBEERd) have rented a house not far from that hotel. I know that dbrowning is also coming, but I'm not sure where he is staying.

Wow, 10 hours....I'm about 8 away and we decided to fly. Personally, anything longer than 4 hours and I go crazy. Plus, I'd have to be in a car with RedBEERd and he smells awful.
Hope you can work it out to show up. Would be awesome. The more the merrier.

I've been telling everyone I've lined up for events that we're looking at 8-15 people, so bring it on! In actuality, I'm sure the guys at the breweries will be fine with however many we bring, but do we have an approximate headcount? I'm thinking it's at 7-8 solid and a few maybes so far, but I might be off.

BTW, Yazoo and Blackstone just announced new beers out this week... Scottish Ale for the new Yazoo winter seasonal, and Coffee Stout and Dubbel for Blackstone limited release. I'll try to save you all some...

I am keeping track of who is going. Right now I've got 9 committed. That includes you Swen. And 4 possibilities. I think I've got everyone accounted for. I'm thinking to post the final list about 30 days before the trip just to confirm the numbers.

Awesome. Just let me know if it gets bigger than 14-15. Again, I don't see it as an issue, but I'd want to let folks know on this end...

I won't be able to make this trip. I have never been to Nashville and would love to go. My wife is dealing with some serious hearing/ vertigo issues. She is also a musician and has lost almost all of hear hearing to Meniere's Disease. I don't want to go without her.

It looks like it will be a great time!

I'm very sorry to hear about your wife and hope she gets well very soon. That has to be very scary for both of you.

Flights are about $160 one way or work can pay for my gas :) I would love to be there quicker but it would be cheaper driving. Not to mention I can then take a keg of something if I wanted to. Not to mention if there was someone in my patch and wanted to hitch a ride I would be willing to do that. Won't really know until it gets closer to the date though.

Maybe this will be of interest to some?......I haven't read this blog much but there are a few guys who are trying to visit 365 breweries in a year or something to that effect. And they are sharing this on their blog........and it so happens that their latest are a few breweries in Nashville that have been mentioned for OUR trip coming next year. I thought maybe some of you may be interested in reading this:

We (myself, Beer-lord, Inkleg and RedBEERd) have rented a house
Hey Borg can anyone remember that post about the realty tv show that was focusing on home brewers. I can see LOTS of cameras set up in that rental house making some seriously entertaining television. :p
