My next kegging event will be 1/25 when I keg my latest stout .... 5 gal ....

I don't have to look at the recipe ... I don't even use qbrew much any more. I make the stouts plain and simple, and they're delicious.

Just got done bottling a Blonde Ale, a simple one. 6 LB gold LME, 1/2 lb Carapils, 1lb light Belgian candi, 1 oz cascade @30 min, 1 oz cascade @2 min, 05 yeast.

Got the mash going on a BIAB batch of Tennessee Cream Ale. I like brew days like this; nice and easy-going. Some beers make you work a little more than others, and while I don't mind, since there's always a pay-off to make it worthwhile, well, I also like the days where it's a simple grain bill, a small batch, and an easy boil. I won't even have to add the first hop addition until T-35!

Yeah, the Cream Ale is not a stand-out beer; I know that. But it's nice to have the variety; it'll be conditioned and ready for drinking fairly soon, and while it's not a stand-out, it's pretty darn tasty.

I'm guessing you bottle from a keg(stuff I'm bringing I bottled last month)

Yes, this time I bottled from the keg. I rarely bottle but I paid for the beer gun and like it so I might as well use it. It does seem to work well though you can go thru some CO2.

First hop addition in on 15 gallon batch of my NORTH PORT PILS!
Kegged 5 gallon batch of Brown Ale and will bottle Nasvhille Traveling Irish Red later in the week or next weekend.

I've been busy: I bottled my side of the last RCE last night, a partigyle of Strong Scotch Ale and Irish Red Ale, partly because it was time and partly to free a couple of fermenters to refine the recipe from a previous RCE, which was a split batch of Altbier and Bock. Both recipes were previously posted. This time in the split batch of Altbier and Bock, I used a common core recipe like in that RCE, but added hops to the Altbier, and Munich and Vienna malts to the Bock, instead of varying the yeast. After juggling too many things simultaneously to get this done, let's just say I'm glad they're in the fermenters.

I bottled my cream ale yesterday and must say I am less than satisfied with it. first the OG was way low and fermentation was something I've not seen or heard of, the FG sample on taste was thin and had lots of corn flavor something not expected. ABV should have been 5.9% and came in at 3.7%. Will let it condition and report in Reviews. I did do my first batch prime and think I'll do this now with all my batches. Its so easy. Always a learning curve going on with a new hobby. :flag:
