I feel your pain! I tried to go on a trail run this AM for the first time in weeks - HUGE mistake. Between the slippery snow, hardpack snow, waterlogged trails, etc. I didn't even get a mile in before throwing in the towel. Won't try that again for a couple of weeks...

On topic...I deserve a homebrew cause I just dumped a case of gushers. But I've already had a Lindemans Kriek, a Lagunitas Cappuccino Stout and I'm working on a Flying Fish Grand Cru - so I probably don't deserve a homebrew after all!

Yeah only a bit of road rash, but now it's a blizzard, so tomorrow I will go ski LOL.

Because I got stuck behind vertically challenged, horizontally gifted, slow, OCD lady on a 1/4 mile long boardwalk across not fully frozen swamp while cross country skiing.

OCD = ever time she saw a leaf or a stick on the snow she had to stop and push it off.

I could see where I wanted to get, I could have been there in a minute, but noooooooooo.

Yeah, it's weird, isn't it?

I had services to do at the mall yesterday, and I got there as soon as the stores opened. That, and the fact that it was brutally cold yesterday meant the place wasn't real busy. I knew where I had to go, and was ready to just quickly stride to each store. And still -- somehow -- in that sparsely populated, wide-open facility, I always seemed to get hemmed in by a charter member of the Slow Walkers of America.

I'm not talking about elderly or infirm people. Goodness, no; those folks get a pass. They can't help their condition, and my own dear father is fairly infirm himself, so I'd be a real turd if I got cheesed off at that. No, these were people younger and skinnier than I am, just strolling along, like cows in an open pasture.

And somehow, they always manage to be in front of me and even block my way.

IDAHBB - Washed both vehicles. Fusion Hybrid hadn't been washed in months. Truck was immaculate until I took it out in the storm we had on Weds and it got covered with muddy slush. I wash that thing and always miss spots. So I need a brew.

IDAHBB I just spent the entire day gardening for SWMBO... carrying around 5 cubic feet of soil, pruning and raking and potting new plants, transplanting old plants into bigger pots and spraying them with fungicides. And it was 82 degrees here today so it was hot.

IDAHBB it's been raining all day going to rain all night and a good part of tomorrow

Because I stood outside for three hours today to see my wife and future son in law in the local St Patrick's Day Parade. It was only 35, but we had fun!

I worked 12 hours today. First marathon workday of the season. Ya-freakin'-hoo. And it's only March, and still pretty cold out there. We're supposed to get a dusting of snow overnight.
