Congrats, Swen. Electricity and I don't play well together so I would have had somebody else do it, too. And I also would have waited years to do it....

And... as a result of prior post... I am actually brewing! Holy cow, first this year. Rye pale I bought ingredients for back on Black Friday. Hope the first of a few more this year...

And yes, I considered doing all of the electrical myself... The outdoor plug (that I use for brewing) was malfunctioning, the light in our outdoor ceiling fan stopped working (ended up being the pull cord mechanism), and an outdoor light fixture needed replacing. All (maybe) doable, but I am more than happy to pay someone else to play with electricity...

And, I also uncovered some old bottled homebrew I didn't know I had.... including the collab beer from the Nashville visit. All may be past it's prime, but I am so definitely opening it. A couple good (IMHO) sours and a Conan pale so far. The collab beer may be next. ;)ImageImageImage

So, in this box of found homebrew, I'm embarrassed but also excited to say I that I just found these inkleg sours... Can't believe I didn't open these, but I am so opening them soon... Maybe Inky can interpret the cap coding? Image

Mr. berryman, my snow's not as deep as your last picture, but we picked up ~20" by the time it was done. It was half ice, half snow. Took 2.5 days to clear around house and clear driveway. This stuff was hard as concrete, ran out of shear-pins.... LOL Now we're minus 8f, supposed to get really cold next few days. Time for a few brews!!

FIT, you have more snow on the ground then we do right now, but we have enough. The last two major storms hit north of us in Buffalo, they can have it up there this time. Usually we get the lake snow in the southern tier ski country. Nice buck glad you named him. LOL

Was just surfin da borg pics and noticed I had posted a pic of our camper. Welp, the tree to the immediate left fell during a storm and took the front of it off... sigh... sure miss the fun that old camper gave us. We've recently returned from a trip to Seattle and bought a new motor-home so soon we hope to get back into glamping again. Brewing has slowed way down especially since I lost a lot of use of my hands. Carpel tunnel stinx!! Just got the soft cast removed from my left hand, getting the surgery done on my right hand in a couple weeks. Makes it hard to do much, no brewing and no camping, yard or garden work, etc. Hopefully these surgeries return most the use of both hands and I can get at it again! Really stinx I haven't been able to ride my moto-bike this year.
