I've got a batch of King Pin IPA that I need to keg today, and tomorrow, I'm going to brew my first attempt at an Oktoberfest.

Kegged AWE-RYE PALE ALE, then brewed up a quick 30 minute boil LME/HME, had to start using up stuff a little over a year old, 5 gallon batch, if the hops are as described gonna call it
DOLE'D OUT IPA
1) 3.3 lb Briess Amber LME
1) 2.86 lb Mr Beer Northwest Pale Ale
1) 1.87 lb Mr Beer Classic American Light
1 oz Zythos @ 20
1 oz Zythos @ 10
Re-Hydrated BRY-97
OG 1.057
Supposed to come out around 5.2%
And around 88 IBU
Smelled good going into the fermenter

I did this for the first time today! Kegged my batch of Lou's Oberon clone recipe. Gravity sample smelled and tasted great!

YES!!! Man it was so crazy fast. And the fact that I didn't have to stop to cap after filling was great. When I filled the keg, I filled with gas, then purged a bit, then filled, and purged. I think it was about 5 or 6 times total, just to make sure all the air gets pushed out. Probably overkill with my keg being so small, but I'm learning. Pressure's between 13 and 14 psi sitting in the fridge at 50*F. Getting anxious to pour from it, but I'll try to wait at least a week.

You really want to get that down to below 40 for a good carb. It'll be ready faster too.

Phil, go online and find the chart for force carbing. There are some that even have styles and volumes shaded, but the temp and pressure will give you the volume of CO2 that will be absorbed by the beer. You can start a little higher pressure for a day or two then lower it and it will equalize.

Every weekend since my 3rd batch. Even with the meet up, I just brewed Friday instead of Saturday. Nothing must stand in the way of beer!

That looks great Phil, welcome to the world of kegging.
This is the chart Steve is referring too.
Lets see.........today I plan to.
Brew a 6 gallon batch of Sue Smoked Porter on my gas system.
Brew a 5.5 gallon batch of All Brett IPA on my electric system.
Keg 5 gallons of Conans Porter.
So I'd best get busy.

I'm envious and tired at the same time when I read this. Maybe that's why you're so good at brewing......you do lots of it.
