Your turning into a sourpuss LOL.

I am a fan of them in the summer, nothing better on a hot day then a nice sour. But not so much in the winter, I like clove driven wheats on colder days. But I honestly think the whole idea of adding lemon to your hefe came from folks who started to miss the old Berliners they got "back in the day".

I have to say I have had a long time passion for Hacker-Pshorr. Am interested in seeing what she brings home tonight as the downriver beer store recently expanded and she had to call and say she was in heaven and after her purchases we will be eating Hamburger Helper sans hamburger for the next week. Did I complain? NOT!

True dat, Papa... True dat. I don't know why I didn't list a Berliner on my earlier list. Bell's Oarsman is great, as is Lips of Faith Yuzu, Freigeist Abraxxxas, and so many more. If in Florida, you have to look up J. Wakefield Brewing. They make amazing Florida Weisses. I really hope Yazoo brings back their berliner. It was quite outstanding.

Move to TN, northern AL or MS. That's your only hope, as they are near capacity just fulfilling those markets...

Speaking of wheat beers, the new White IPA ships next week, btw... I've had it on tap several times, but I'm happy to see they are bottling it next week...

Now, if we can just get the sour program in bottles... ;)

I like 80 Acre Wheat by Boulevard. Free State's Wheat State Golden is good too.

Yes, I'm boring!

I'm gonna have to check em out next time I visit my folks in Miami. I read an article about him that he just opened a new brewery there, and he got his start with Mr. Beer.
