You have inspired me to coldcrash outside the refrigerator..... I'll start outside like you, but bring in when I hit 50 or so and sit near the door, which will bring down to 40ish... too cold to leave out overnight.... might get a beersicle.

put it on the porch with a fan on it, when you ain't got snow but it is cold. imo wind chill should cool it down pretty quick. quicker than my ice bath can anyway.
