Yes, big boys, Pats, Broncs, Seahawks, Carolina.... I know they need teams to fill the scorecards, but this year, many teams were disappointing. As a Pats fan, I know they are out key people, and looked flat quite often, but look where they ended up...Doesn't say much for some of the other teams. I've never seen so many possibilities for making the playoffs the final week.

I must have missed that. Not sure what it is... is it just pick a winner straight up? Fantasy football style? I wouldn't want to bet my money picking any of the teams playing this weekend. Really don't think GB is worthy of the playoffs this year, although I really like Arron Rodgers. Phily wasn't as good as their record either. Good luck. How'd you do yesterday?

Pick one team per week to win and advance to the next week and that team is burned for the season.
Picked the Colts to live another day.
Now it really gets interesting. I messed up by burning the Niners and Panthers early so I'm thin on NFC side.
I know one thing I won't trust sports analyst who say a team (in my case the Colts D) is healthy going into a game again. Those guys were barely walking upright yesterday.

The first half they were getting picked apart, and gave a few big plays away. Boiled down to the game saving play, 4th and 11. Great pass but better coverage.

There is no way they are going into Denver and winning playing like that.

From looking at a bunch of stats I was expecting much better play from them than that.

And I don't think AL would have been off his game as bad if T-Rich hadn't fumbled. The look on Luck's face after that place was "doom".

He reminded me of the shortstop in Major League who was afraid of getting hurt and not taking any chances. Once he stepped up, things turned around.

The Colts/Chiefs game was the most amazing game I have ever attended, including Peyton Manning's return to Indy. In the early 3rd quarter a few "fans" started to leave. Then the comeback. Once the defense showed up and Luck decided he had to step up the whole atmosphere changed. My ears are still ringing from the final 4 minutes.
Go Colts!!!

Really looking forward to Green Bay/SF. With Rogers back and in the cold, I think the 49rs are in trouble.
SD/Cinci will be interesting as well.

As a former Pats fan I have to say NE is not one of the ''big boys''. I'm sure they can handle the Colts if that's who they have to face, but they're in trouble if they have to face the Bengals.

You're right about it being a long time since the final week of the season was that exciting!

Well so much for statistical analysis; I had the Chargers losing for lack of defense but they showed up to play.

I didn't pick Cincy for this week because of the whole good Andy bad Andy talk. Nuff said.

@docpd I have to say that I was expecting more Colts crowd noise early than there seemed to be (on tv) but you were there and I bet that was an exciting place to be towards the end.

Okay back to my tv for the Niners Packers game.

The Packers O-line just sucks! Poor Rodgers doesn't seem to have much of a chance. Like the Saints, when you pay your QB lots of money, other areas hurt and the Packers are 1 of about 6 teams that have this problem.
