Nooooooooo! Actually, whatever melts your butter. The only "right" way is the way you like it.

Like Jim Beam for bourbon, but I found a whiskey that I think blows Crown away and here in Ohio it's about $10.00 a bottle cheaper. Don't know if its available everywhere it's Tullamore Dew Irish Whiskey, very nice sipping whiskey!

A bourbon-related story about the decline of the American civilization:
Both my brother and I like good bourbon or whiskey. He likes his with ice, I like mine neat. He told me a story about how him and a bunch of his office buddies went out for drinks one day after work. (He lived in Chicago at the time.) The waitress comes to their tables to take their orders and my brother orders a Jack Daniels on ice. When the waitress returns with their drinks she sets a Jack and Coke in front of my brother. He tells her that this is not what he ordered. She reminds him that he wanted a Jack Daniels and that is what she brought him.
"But I just wanted Jack Daniels and ice," He says.
She looks a little confused but she takes the drink back to the bar and returns...with another Jack and Coke. He, again, informs the waitress that that is not what he wanted but he'll go up to the bar himself and straighten it out.
So he goes to the bar-tender, sets the drink on the bar and tells her he just wants a Jack Daniels on ice. She says, "That's what I made. What else do you want in it?"
"No, you don't understand." He then tells her to put a glass with just ice on the bar. She does. Then he tells her to put two shots of Jack Daniels in the glass of ice. She does. But then, almost as if it's a reflex action, she grabs the soda dispenser thingy and brings it up over the glass. My brother quickly covers the glass with his hand and sternly says, "No! That is all I want in the glass."
She looks at him like his nose just fell off his face. "You're going to drink that Jack with nothing in it?"
My brother nods. "That is why it's called a Jack Daniels and ice."
She shrugs her shoulders and says, "To each his own I guess."
Every time he tells that story I have to finish with, "Just think if you had ordered something complicated like a Jack Daniels neat."

I get that, Chuck! Another is if something comes to $5.63 and you give the cashier $11.00 to get a fiver back instead of a bunch of singles, they have NO clue how or why to do this!
