Also if I purchase tomorrow I can get the Blichmann for $615 including shipping. Because of midwest's $50 off.

I just did a little more study on the stout site. They want $85 to ship the thing. That makes it more expensive than the Blichmann if I buy soon enough to get the midwestsupplies discount. Though it does have some nice features. It has a thermometer, they use tri clamps, and it comes with the barb on the ball valve necessary to attach my hose to it.

If I was going all out, I'd get me something like these:

Freaking expensive, but daaaaaam, I could make anything anytime.

That is wayyyyy out of my price range. To me $600 is being extremely extravagant. But a big selling point for me is being able to push the beer out with CO2. Which will eliminate lifting a bottling bucket with 5 gallons of liquid up on a stool to use my autosiphon.

Hey Gymrat, FWIW I was just at AHS the other day and they had one on display as well. You might call them as well to verify size and check pricing.

Thankyou Brewbirds I appreciate that. But last night I pulled the trigger on a 10 gallon Stout conical. Just over $400.

Good for you Roger. I look forward to hearing more about it when you get it going. Of course, up and close pictures of the porn are always appreciated.

Oh there will be reports and pictures
Two things I am wondering right now
1. When I dry hop commando will the hops come out when I drain the trub from under the beer?
2. If I brew a white wheat on week 1. And a Wee Heavy or IPA or barley wine on week 2, how much trub would I drain to pitch in week 2 as yeast?
