Wow. I found two bottles of this in the fridge and had one last night.
CRYSTAL CLEAR - so much so that I needed to put that in all caps!
More head than I think of a lager typically having. The aroma wasn't as strong as the keg-hopped version (d'uh!) but present nonetheless.
I've learned that I don't have a lot of patience for lagers but if I ever did this again I would lager it for 2 months in the kegerator and then keg hop it about a week before drinking it.

You guys are definitely making me jealous, I haven't even seen my fermentation chamber in six months, it's still in storage. I miss the challenge of turning out a nice lager beer but especially miss the clean crisp flavors they provide. Do you all live close by each other or have a reliable way to ship each other beers, I think it's great that you're able to sample one anothers beer and share your comments like that.

We're almost on opposite sides of the country but we did send each other these beers. Both were excellent though different. Ron's was a true lager of course and I, well, I cheated.

Ouch, sorry to hear that Vince. You're still brewing though, right? I thought I saw a couple of threads were you were brewing up your 420 Wheat. Do you mean you just can't lager right now?
Like Paul said, we just ship the beers because nobody around us within driving/walking distance likes us enough to come drink with us

HEY! Speak for yourself. There are plenty of people who will drink with me. The doctor says it's not really my fault that no one else can see them.

It's not your fault. Blame the cat.
