I actually don't mind S-23 in certain beers. But I am fully aware of what I am getting into, and ferment them 57-60 as that's where I like it the best - and expect there to be some fruitiness. It might actually be good in this beer, although it would turn out quite different. Maybe I'll try that sometime.

Bottled this. Tastes noticeably different then the original batch due to the crystal vs. honey malt. I figured it was such a small amount it wouldn't be that noticeable, but it has a hint of ESB lingering in the background. In any case, it's gonna be good, I enjoyed my sample.
