I like it. I would like mine in a brewing apron as well as a hat please. On brew day there should no question about who is in control of the kitchen. :thanks:

Well, it ain't done yet. Not sure about the borg figure as it should have some type of beer there somewhere and we need some colors.
As I said, I'm not an artist, I just put things in place. Drawing and design aren't my thing but I can take parts and finish the puzzle.

More input needed so please share your ideas, thoughts and if anyone is a graphic artist, that would help too.

I think it has promise.

I would caution anyone thinking of making gear to ensure that either a) they find a place that makes to order or b) they take pre-paid preorders. While I may love a final logo, I have about 30 baseball caps and likely wouldn't get another. Maybe 1 t-shirt. There are places to can utilize online that allow smaller orders.

You are most definitely right. I sell stuff like this but small quantities aren't really good for me to sell. Some online stores have tons of blank, bulk goods and will imprint on a very few. While I have to buy just what is wanted and print on it. I don't stock anything I print on, just broker with the factories that do. So, we'd be better off doing what you mention.
T-shirts are simple and you can always upload artwork to an online store and order just what's needed vs. carrying a stock. I don't suggest anyone carry a stock.

In fact, it's definitely possible to simply let the online company handle everything so that buyers only have to pick and choose and pay and that's it.

Cafepress does exactly what you are talking about. Have used them in the past too.

This is something that I put together some time ago when I was first working on this site. Maybe you could get some ideas from it. I also have a version that has a taller mug. I will post that when get home!

Louie, I'm not sure how it was created but the cleanest, highest resolution image is what's needed for a quality imprinted product. Normally these files are called 'vectored art' and are in file formats that end with .eps and .ai (Adobe Illustrator). They can't just be converted to vectored art, they need to be created that way. However, I do belong to an association that allows us to send art to a pool of graphic artists that can usually make what I need done for a small cost.

I like the idea of having beer on their somewhere....it is a homebrew forum after all.

I understand, I just made this using my Pages word processor on my Mac. I mainly put it up to show you that the body/figure could be a beer glass or mug instead of just a "smilie" the other one I did is actually better but I don't have access to it here at work, so I will post it later.

Although it's not a logo, I assembled this image to celebrate the new home of the BeerBorg.

I also posted it with editorial comments here...
